Unfortunately, we really can’t diagnose anything with just that. Is there anything in the logs?

$XDG_CONFIG_HOME/Mailspring or ~/.config/Mailspring

wheras the xxxxxxxx
denote the internal id of your e-mail accountMeanwhile, what were you doing at the time? What is your OS and its version? (We did ask for that in the template). Has this happened more than once?
