Message "This App is Blocked" for gmail accounts

Hi, all of a sudden a gmail account that was already set up on mailspring lost the connection and when I try to reconnect it tells me that the App is blocked (screen shot below)
What should I do?
I tried what was recommended on a different thread but it’s not working. Thanks in advance

Try a way around as detailed:
works perfectly with https://myaccount.google.com/apppasswords
need to activate 2 factor verification before you generate app passwords

This doesn’t work for my office email account.

My personal account works well.

I just turned Pro and I need Mailspring to work with my Office account without having to reach out to the Administrator who is in-charge of the entire setup - (They won’t approve custom password ).

Great if the Team is capable of solving this.

I’ve had the same issue with Google workspace.

Hi Team,

I thought our workspace admin had restricted 3rd party apps.

That isn’t the case.

I just configured Thunderbird without any issues.

Hi there - we’ve been working with Google to restore Mailspring’s access to the Gmail APIs and it was restored yesterday. If you go through the “Add Account” flow again, you’ll be able to link your Gmail account properly.
