Description
I’ve installed Mailspring (via the mailspring-bin
AUR-package
on a fresh install of Arch Linux on KDE (Kernel 6.12.1)
The package itself uses the .deb package of getmailspring.com
When starting and clicking through the first “Getting started” screens there is a grey screen with a loading icon that says
Still tyring to reach https://id.mailspring.com…
There is an error message in the terminal when running mailspring --verbose
related to the update check. The http error code varies between 204 (no content), 502 (bad gateway) and 503 (service unavailable):
Manual update check (updates.getmailspring.com/check/linux/x64/1.14.0-07c62cca/anonymous/stable) returned 503
Error Downloading Update: Unexpected end of JSON inputManual update check (updates.getmailspring.com/check/linux/x64/1.14.0-07c62cca/anonymous/stable) returned 502

At first I thought this was a temporary issue, but the error exists since at least 8 hours ago.
