Regularly forced to re-send emails

Problem

Regularly (like, over 30% of sends), I find I have to re-send an email. The observed behavior is that, after hitting send and waiting for sync to complete, the email moves back into a draft state with no error message. This is particularly annoying because for new sends, I don’t see that the email didn’t send until I check my drafts, which may sometimes be days after I thought the email went out.

Context

It is fairly consistent across GMail accounts, though no account in particular (I have several) seems to be more egregious than the others. It’s across accounts.

Email Provider

Gmail (Google)

Setup

  • OS and Version: Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS (an Ubuntu variant)
    • Installation Method: snap
  • Mailspring Version: 1.10.5

I don’t know how this problem hasn’t got more attention.
I’m using Mailspring for a couple weeks now, and having the same kind of problem described by @azoff .
I got in trouble twice because I though emails were sent, and they were actually sitting in my drafts.

Happens over multiple accounts on Gmail (Google).

Setup
OS and Version: Manjaro, kernel 5.10.154-1-MANJARO
Installation Method: AUR
