Hi, a very small pr of mine (a ui fix) just got released and I’m pretty excited about it. I’ve been using Mailspring for about 6+ months now and this is by far, THE BEST mail client out there (believe me, I’ve tried many, across windows and linux). So, its only fitting that I not only consume it, but also help in building this.
From a brief overview of what I can see, is that mailspring still uses class components and is stuck on React 17 with many other packages that are either quite old or not being maintained anymore (like moment).
So, I’d like to start contributing in terms of upgrade. Of course, it will be in small steps which does not overwhelm the maintainers and others can chime in as well.
What do you think? Would you be open to upgrades?
