Iv been trying to login to my school’s 365 account but after successfully signing in through my web browser, I get an error in mainspring claiming authorization error (SMTP) I have tried two computer now and no other client is having an issue sign in.
There have been some other reports on here recently about Office365 auth problems. I don’t know if anyone found a solution, but might be worth a search?
The problem is the system depends on the SMTP client authentication that no sane 365 setup has enabled. So much for Mailspring for me. And I have to say I’m quite a bit disillusioned to see this hasn’t even been answered in the last year.
I also tried about IMAP , doesnt make sense my password is right.

Honesty this mail client isn’t in real active development. That and most office 365 tennants dont not have IMAP and SMTP enabled…
