Accounts get disconnected after closing Mailspring

If it helps, I have three accounts managed by Mailspring 1.9.1 and two of them consistently get sync errors. As far as I can tell, it isn’t happening upon closing Mailspring, but I don’t exactly know the cause. Reconnecting works fine, but only lasts about a day.

The strange thing is, I’m not receiving errors in the feed. The two accounts are both GMail. Here’s an example of the feed:

Any resolution available for above issue or should we give up on mailspring, obviously can’t continue with this issue and authorizing accounts every second day. Pls guide

I’ve given up on it, went back to Outlook. It’s a great email client but having to log into all my email accounts every time I close the client is a pain in the but.

Hopefully, someone in the community finds a way to fix it :upside_down_face:

I uninstalled and installed ver 1.7.8 and added accounts, then updated mailspring to 1.91 and it works

again same issue, accounts disconnected

cancel subscription, come back to thunderbird. It’s ugly but it works.

I also have this problem but only in my Windows 10 installation. Almost every time I open Mailspring I have to reauthenticate and I only have two accounts. In my Ubuntu 20.04 installation everything works like a charm.

Install ver 17.8 and add all accounts, close the app. it’ll get updated to latest version with all acounts working

It’s months and months of white screens of death, credentials dissapearing, not to mention the years of syncing issues… I just give up, I canceled my subscription and now I’m finding another email client. It’s just impossible to deal with the lack of professionalism of this company.

To the developer(s): if you can’t support your software, even with people paying, just kill it. Stop using people.

I am also experiencing this issue with Gmail conneced accounts… I can make it work for 1 session but after that it refuses to work.

Yeah, i’ve also this bug, i have 4 account connected with SMTP, and 2 work properly, and 2 disconnect every day.

I’m experiencing the same issue with Gmail and Yahoo email account. I have to reconnect Mailspring to Gmail and Yahoo after having closed and reponed Mailspring

Hi i had the same problem, i simply emptied the cache from the general tab on the bottom left button

This is still an issue in 2023. Do the developers not care to fix this crucial issue? Seems many people other than me are having the same thing with multiple accounts not being re-synced after closing and reopening the program. This is bad and is annoying to have to authenticate every time I restart my PC. Please fix this issue that has now been around for years.
