I switched over from Mailbird. After using the app for about a month, I’m still missing a button to force a refresh of IMAP folders.
Here’s what I’ve noticed: when an email arrives, the Gmail client on Android picks it up in 2 seconds, Mailbird takes about 5 seconds on average, and Mailspring takes 12–15 seconds on average. It would also be great to have the option to adjust the folder polling frequency.
Otherwise, from my point of view, Mailspring is excellent!
