Description

Provide an arm64 Linux (.deb preferred) build so can be used by devices like the Pinebook Pro, Raspberry Pi, etc.

Setup

  • OS and Version: Ubuntu 20.04

I’ve been migrating all my extended family members from 10+ year old windows computers to Raspberry Pi 400s running Ubuntu. However, Ubuntu comes with Thunderbird which is not the cleanest UX. Mostly I can direct people to use the web versions of their mail providers, but in some cases they are using their ISP provided email account, of which the UX is abysmal. It would be great if Mailspring could run on Raspberry Pi 4/400s running Ubuntu, as would allow these family members who cannot afford the 6 year multi-thousand-dollar upgrade cycle by Microsoft and Apple.
