I propose that there could be a way to attach a file by running mailspring with a command line argument ? I.e. something like
mailspring --attach “file.jpg”
or via some kind of d-bus interfac.
This feature would allow one to easily setup a desktop service, like right-click on a file->share->attach to email

This is a neat idea. Not sure what the timeline would be on implementing this — it’ll probably depend on popular request — but I think it’s worth considering.
It may also be a good candidate for a plugin.
In nautilus, if I right click a file and choose “send to” through mailspring, it will open the message composing window in mailspring but there is no attachment there.
