How do I have Mailspring choose light/dark theme based on the system setting?

Good news — Mailspring already supports this! By default, Mailspring follows your system’s light/dark mode setting automatically.
If it’s not doing that, it may have been manually overridden at some point. To re-enable it, go to Preferences > Appearance and set the theme to “Automatic”. This will make Mailspring switch between light and dark themes whenever your OS switches.
