Hi, using an Arm based tablet, ms surface pro, for some reason out of the blue, my font for inboxes turned blue, and when I type within an email, the keys only trigger short cuts, restarting didn’t help. I deleted and reinstalled then it worked. After using mailspring for a while, it happened again, but closing app and restarting fixed it. Has anyone had an issue like this?
Thanks for reporting this, I think two separate things are happening here:
Keyboard issue: The problem where keys triggered shortcuts instead of typing was a v1.20.0 regression, fixed in v1.20.1. Please update to v1.21.1 (the latest) to get all fixes.
Blue font/accent: This is likely the new system accent color feature added in v1.20.0. Mailspring now follows your OS accent color by default — if Windows is set to a blue accent, the app UI adopts it. To revert to the previous behavior (our green accent color): go to Preferences > Appearance and uncheck “Use system accent color”, or change your Windows accent in Settings > Personalization > Colors.
If the blue font appears and disappears randomly (not correlated with the accent color setting), please let us know — that would point to a different issue.
