Hello everyone,
I’ve encountered a severe issue with how Mailspring handles and syncs signature images in the cloud, and I’m hoping to get some advice or help from the developers.
- I created a new signature with an image in Mailspring.
- I didn’t assign this signature to any specific email account, and shortly after, I deleted it from my settings.
- However, a major sync bug occurred: it seems Mailspring uploaded this new image to the cloud storage using the exact same asset ID/URL as our older, existing signature images.
- My new image has completely overwritten the old, correct signature images on the Mailspring server.
- This email account is shared among 3 different team members, and now all of them see my new image in old email threads on their respective PCs.
- Even worse, this broken image is pulled into our Hostinger webmail interface, because the old sent emails point to the Mailspring cloud URL that was accidentally overwritten.

“I have located the overwritten asset URL on your server: https: //user-generated.getmailspring.com/asset/ ODg5YWI3MjQtMzc3Mi00NzUxLTkxZDItNjQ1ZGE2YmMzOGM5L3NpZy1pbml0aWFsLnBuZw.png
Please completely delete this asset or purge it from my Mailspring ID cloud storage, so it stops overriding our signatures.”
