Bug: Read Email Conversation still showing in Unread

Description

Conversation remains in unread even all of its mail has been read.

To Reproduce…

Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. Make a demo Conversation.
  2. Read it from some different client (say Browser).
  3. Now open MailSpring, You'll see the conversation in unread.
  4. Open the conversation, Go through all mails but Mail will remain unread.

Expected Behavior

Mail should not be present in Unread

Hi @merrcury,

Thanks a lot for your bug report. Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce the issue.

Can you please let me know, which e-mail provider you are using where this happens? Also let me know how the e-mail thread is structured (so which e-mails were incoming and which ones were outgoing)?

Hi @Phylu,

It was a Google Workspace email.

Email Structure: It was a conversation aimed at multiple people. All persons are using “Reply All”. I haven’t replied to the conversation(in any manner). I have read the entire conversation on the Browser. But Its still showing Unread in MailSpring App even after reading the same in MailSpring too.

Can you please try the following: Go to Preferences > Accounts > Rebuild Cache.
Does this set the read state of the e-mail in questions correctly?

Yes, After Rebuilding the Cache, It’s gone.
