Can not input CJK with Fictx when write email

Description

We can not use Fcitx with Show preedit within application option enable to input Chinese Character when writing email.

Setup

  • Installation Method: from aur/mailspring
  • Mailspring Version: 1.9.2

I have the same problem. I don’t know how to fix it.

I have a similar problem with Japanese input- a temporary fix that I have found is to disable rich text features from the preferences menu- this solves the problem of buggy input but obviously does not allow for rich text features so I hope that this bug is fixed soon…
