Can´t drag & Drop attachment

Here is the message receiving when i want to drag and drop attachment into e mail

No icon to add an attachment

When I open a new email message I get no icon to add an attachment to the email. I am running Windows 11 Pro version 32H2 with the latest update to Mailspring. If I try to drag the attachment from the file it is in to the draft email I get a message Error The “path” argument must be of type string, Received undefined. Perhaps I am too used to clicking an add icon and then opening files to locate and attach the document or photo

This is a known bug that was introduced in a recent release — the error “The ‘path’ argument must be of type string, Received undefined” is a bug in how Mailspring reads the file path from the drop event on some platforms. The workaround for now is to use the paperclip attachment button in the composer toolbar instead of drag-and-drop. I’ve noted this as a regression to investigate for an upcoming release.
