Cannot view translated message on Macbook

I am running Macos v26.4.1 and have installed Mailspring v1.21.0

The issue i am encountering is mailspring displays my email that i am trying to have it translated from Japanese to English and says “Email has been translated into English”, but i cannot see the translation.
Can you help?

A few things to try:

  1. Scroll to the top of the email: The translation replaces the email body and the scroll position sometimes stays at the bottom after it renders
  2. Toggle the translation off and on: Click the translation button to dismiss, then click again to re-translate

If none of those help, please share what language the original email is in — this will help us determine if it’s a specific language pair issue or a rendering bug.
