Can't see emails

I just set up Mailspring with my Fastmail account. All seemed to work well, except that I can’t see any emails in my inbox or in unread emails. My online fastmail account shows that there are 30 emails in my inbox, and the activity tab in Mailspring shows that it downloaded 30 email today. But I can’t see them anywhere! I have “show unread emails or all folders/labels checked” in the settings.I suspect I am missing something obvious, but I don’t know what it is and a search of the help website didn’t offe r any assistance. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Never mind. I figured it out. I had set up some rules in the Fastmail web application that worked fine there, but created a problem in Mailspring. I deleted those rules and things seem to be working fine now.
