Can't send Gmail. Taking very long to sync mail boxes

Problem

Can no longer send emails in either of my two accounts (both Google mail). Also syncing email takes a very long time. This issue just started yesterday, both before and after I updated my Kernel from 6.5.0-41 to 6.5.0-44. I tried rebuilding the caches and Re-authenticating both accounts. Tried purging Mailspring and reinstalling. I even tried restoring my system from multiple Rsync backups, unfortunately none of these attempts resolved the issues.

  • OS and Version: Mint Mate v21.3 Kernel 6.5.0.44

Now I’m having the same issue with my Mac.
