Connection lost when Mailspring is left open for a while on Mac OS

Description

If Mailspring is left open, after some time the connection to Gmail is lost and not recoverable. Only option is to close Mailspring and reopen it.

To Reproduce…

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open Mailspring
  2. Leave it open for a couple days
  3. Discover that mail isn’t updated and it is trying to sync but never does

Expected Behavior

Connection to mail servers is refreshed as needed

  • OS and Version: macOS 12.6.2
  • Mailspring Version: 1.10.8
