Cursor not scrolled into the view when replying to a message

Description

Cursor is not scrolled into the view when replying to a long message with the options for plain text editor and chronological conversation order enabled.

To Reproduce…

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to Preferences
  2. Enable Display conversations in descending chronological order
  3. Disable Enable rich text and advanced editor functions
  4. Go to Inbox and open a long message (which doesn’t fit in the screen)
  5. Click on Write a reply
  6. The cursor won’t be scrolled into the view.

Setup

  • OS and Version: Ubuntu 20.04
  • Mailspring Version: 1.7.8
