The Problem
I have several custom domains I use for separating communications across my work/creative spheres. I can use these domains to send/receive mail to my iCloud account as long as I use Apple Mail (that is, if an email gets send to me@myworkdomain.com it will show up in myappleaccoun@icloud.com, where I can reply to that email using the custom domain, so long as I stay in Apple Mail). In Mailspring, I can’t select my domain aliases from which to send emails.
Proposed Solution
- Work with iCloud API/SDK on the backend to allow custom domain aliases to appear in the dropdown “From” when crafting a new message
