Pretty self explanitory, when selecting the default send as address in preferences, I am unable to select an alias. This is a much needed feature for me and would be very appreciated!

Not sure how much progress has been made.
While you are at it, it would be good when we receive an email to see the alias rather than the real mail address in the from field. That should be pretty easy to fix too.
