Disappearing emails from one account

Description

To Reproduce…

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open Mailspring
  2. Observe emails randomly disappearing
  3. Sync emails
  4. Observe disappeared emails showing up again
  5. Repeat steps 2-5

Setup

  • OS and Version: macOS 14.2
    • Installation Method: DMG for Apple Silicon
  • Mailspring Version: 1.13.3

Additional Context

I have 4 accounts in Mailspring, two are GMail, one is IMAP and the problematic one is ProtonMail over ProtonMail Bridge. Problem happens only for the latter, which renders Mailspring quite unusable for me, because the app behaviour is really weird. As described, mails are randomly disappearing from my inbox, but I am able to “retrieve” them by syncing email - but what happens more is that when I am writing new email, Mailspring syncs email in the background and my newly created email disappears and shows up in Drafts after syncing. This is really annoying and I would like to know if there is something I can give you more (e.g. logs), so you’ll be able to help me.
