Error in Logo import

Hi, during signature’s in setting of my new account I can’t import logo (in one of format expected)
Message shown = Error : POST https://id.getmailspring.com/api/save-public-asset returned 500 Internal Server Error
The image is 31K, so I don’t think it’s a file’s size matter
Any suggest ?

That 500 was a server-side error from our image-hosting endpoint (save-public-asset), not anything about your file — 31 KB is well within limits. The upload path also got another round of fixes in 1.24.1.

If you (or anyone landing here later) still see an upload error on a current build, the two things to check are:

  • You’re signed in with a Mailspring ID (Preferences > Subscription). Images are hosted by Mailspring so they display for every recipient, so the upload is only offered when you’re signed in.
  • The file is a PNG, JPG, GIF, SVG or TIFF. It’s resized to 250 px on upload, so size isn’t a concern.
