Great program. I much prefer it over the Yahoo Mail in the browser and over the Outlook app by Microsoft.
However, there is just one thing that I absolutely can’t stand. It’s the Conversations.
I just want to go to my Sent folder and see what I sent and anything before that, already expanded and not collapsed. And then go to my Inbox folder and see an even newer message with the aforementioned content with some addition received content at the top.
But the way it is now, all the freaking messages are linked into the same message. I want them separate.
And the WORST part is how they are collapsed and my sent content is collapsed and hidden.
I read a GitHub thread from 2019 (seven years ago) complaining about the same thing:
And it was said to use a hotkey to expand stuff. But I don’t want to use a hotkey. Plus that poster asked a question on whether the hotkey would stick between updates and no one ever answered him.
I get this over concern that there might be performance issues on really long conversations. But does everyone have a long conversation? No. Also, we are asking for the OPTION to auto expand conversations. We are not asking that it must be forced by default. Just let us change something in settings if we DECIDE that we want the conversations to be automatically expanded.
