Dear Sirs:
I need to know if Mailspring supports the creation of filters so that the mails with these characteristics go directly to the specific folder. In case of supporting it, I ask for your advice to know what is the procedure to create them. Thank you.
Also waiting for this.
the mail rules are rubbish no one needs to label stuff, it needs to filter to a specific folder setup for email.
Mailspring does have mail rules — go to Preferences > Mail Rules to set them up. You can create rules that match on sender, subject, recipient, and more.
For Gmail accounts, the available actions are label-based (since Gmail uses labels rather than folders), so you can automatically apply a label but messages stay in the inbox unless you also add “Archive” as an action.
For IMAP accounts with real folders, there’s a “Move to Folder” action available in mail rules that will route matching messages directly into a specific folder.
If you’re on Gmail and want messages to go to a specific label and skip the inbox, add both a “Apply Label” action and an “Archive” action to the same rule.
