Google Contacts Will not Sync

Problem

Google contacts do not sync with mainspring preventing the easy email to field completion.

Context

My corporate email is gmail. I can send receive email with it from mainspring and love the experience. However, it is unusable because my to field will not complete from the google contact list.

Things I’ve done to fix:

  1. Check the contacts window. My google contacts do not appear.
  2. Rebuild the contact cache
  3. Remove the google account and re-add it
  4. Uninstall and reinstall mailspring
  5. Search GitHub issues
  6. Search discord issues

  • OS and Version: OS Catalina
    • Installation Method: Mac Installer from Mailspring site
  • Mailspring Version: Version 1.8.0 (1.8.0)

Same problem here. Groups appear but not the actual contacts. It doesn’t appear as this problem or Spell Check will ever be fixed.
