Limited Number of Email Accounts

Just downloaded Mailspring and started setting it up. I was already starting to think about the Pro version, mostly for templates and notifications when emails are read. But I can’t add more than 4 accounts.

I have search here in the Community and have found conflicting information.

Help?

Hello sammymaudlin,

You can, if you are using the pro version.

The free is limited to 4 accounts. (admins, correct me if I am wrong)

Also, keep in mind that if you use the link-tracking or the read-tracking functions when sending emails to business accounts that are with using Microsoft Office 365 mail services, your emails will not be received by the recipients as that functionality works via a backtracking link that has been added to the Outlook/Office365 spam filters - I am had and have tested this issue. From what I found this is due to a random individual in the past using this functionality for nefarious purposes. However, the Mainspring team is working on a resolution.

Hope this helps!

I researched this on the site before I downloaded and spent time setting it up only to find that I couldn’t have more than 4. I have 7 and was hoping to test how having 7 would work before going Pro. Also, that this wasn’t made clear at the beginning was unfortunate.

I know it’s open source and that deserves some slack but still…

I have 8 accounts, counting my 5 work once, 3 of which I can no longer connect due to security policies forcing me to use Outlook. But when I could it worked perfectly fine.

I haven’t used the free version in a while, but before I started paying, I remember that you could select to add more than 4. They asked you to support them by getting pro, but there was a “not now” button. That, however, was about 3 or 4 years ago.

Hi I’m running 9 accounts, no issues so far

I continue to try but can’t beyond 4. You guys have the early stages of something good but IMHO it isn’t there yet. I’ll check back every few months.

Thanks.
