Link Tracking and Open Tracking prevent emails from being delivered to Outlook/O365 recipients

Description

When sending emails to Outlook.com or O365 recipients, if you have link-tracking or open-tracking turned on, they will receive the email and will delete it shortly after.

To Reproduce…

Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. Open Mailspring
  2. Send an email to an outlook.com account or an O365 account.
  3. With Open-Tracking - Recipient receives the email, but it gets autodeleted shortly after being received.
  4. With Link-Tracking - Recipient doesn’t receive the email or any other notification about the email.

Expected Behavior

The email to be received and for both tracking methods to work.

Setup

  • OS and Version: Windows 11/Arch Linux
  • Installation Method: installer/yay -S mailspring
  • Mailspring Version: 1.14.0 07c62cca

Additional Context

I pay for my Mailspring Pro and use it happily. Or at least I was until I had to send files to a corporate O365 email. Due to the link tracking the first email wasn’t even received. Trying with open-tracking - you receive it, however it disappears shortly. Can something be done about it?
