@live sync issues


@live account constantly has sync issues 5-10 minutes after Mailspring launches. New incoming emails wont sync until completely killing the app and relaunching.

To Reproduce…

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Launch Mailspring
  2. Wait 5-10 minutes until sync error appears

Expected Behavior

Should receive emails no matter how long Mailspring has been running for




  • OS and Version: Windows 10 Enterprise N (Dev Build 21390)
    • Installation Method: USB UEFI
  • Mailspring Version: 1.9.1

Additional Context

  • Used app password to sign in because there is no 2FA support

Hi - I’m having similar issues.

I have multiple email accounts connected to my Mailspring client. Most of them are gmail or G-Suite accounts.

For one of these accounts, Mailspring is popping this message:

“Encountered an error while syncing [email address]” There is no apparent way to further diagnose this through Mailspring. Other G-Suite accounts are functioning fine.

Not sure how to fix this issue, other than to delete the account and redo the set up.
