Mailspring does not show Gmail signatures

Description

I sent an email with a signature from Gmail on the web (signature@gmail.com). The email was sent to another Gmail account (recipient@gmail.com). I can see the signature in gmail on the web, but not in Mailspring. I can also see it in Thunderbird, but again, not in Mailspring.

To Reproduce…

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Send an email with a signature from Gmail (from signature@gmail.com).

  2. Open it with Mailspring (with recipient@gmail.com) and you will not see the signature.

  3. Open it with Gmail for the web (with recipient@gmail.com) and you will see the signature.

Expected Behavior

To see the signature no matter what client I used to open it with. To see the signature in Mailspring.
