Mailspring is insanely slow on MacBook Pro

Mailspring is insanely slow on my Mac. I just tried to compose a new message for example and it took a full 30 seconds for the new message window to open. I’m running OS 11.4, Big Sur if that makes any difference.

I find myself using Mac mail again and only suffering through Mailspring when I need to use a template or track an email to see that it was opened.

Any help sincerely appreciated!

If you’re experiencing mail delays or freezes, here are some things you can try.

  1. Check if your iCloud account is syncing correctly

  2. Restart MailSpring and/or your Mac
    Hopefully, you will see major improvement. Kindly check whether you are using the updated version or not. Best wishes.
