Mailspring needs to be reconnected to school email with 2fa after every close

Additional Context

I have a regular hotmail account and a school account with 2fa using Microsoft Exchange hooked up to my Mailspring app on Archlinux. My hotmail account works fine, but my school account requires me to reconnect every time i close the app. This is an inconvenience and means i miss emails if i close the app (to save on ram).

Is there anything I can do to fix this on my end? OR is this a bug?
