I love mailspring but hate the threaded display of emails. To that end I installed mailspring-unthreaded-1.0.1 plugin. This seems to work but from time to time it freezes the whole program and the only thing that I have found to unfreeze it, is to close mailspring rename the ~/.config/Mailspring/packages/ folder and re-open mailspring. This then opens Ok but of course is back in threaded mode. Can anyone help?

I am using Linux Mint 22.3 - Cinnamon 64-bit
Try the latest version. I don’t have a good way to test on linux.

I have been using Mailspring with this plugin now for over a week and it works perfectly. This is a great plugin and resolves the hated threaded display of emails. I cannot understand why the developers of Mailspring could not resolve this issue when ejbiker93ss Emory Kempf was able to make this plugin which resolves the issue at a stroke. Brilliant work Emory.
