The Problem
Hey.com is a very well designed “email experience”, would be interesting to get ideas from them, in particular their “Imbox” / “Feed” / “Paper trail” to implement such a nice and intuitive interface in Mailspring
Yes, I would love this. I have a semi-working setup in thunderbird but would much prefer it in mailsprint.
Main thing I did over there was rules based on contact lists - add to “newsletter” contact list and it auto gets marked as read and moved to the correct folder that I can read at my liesure.
I can sort of do that here, but would require adding each email one by one instead of a contact list and there is no way to quick add to a rule that I can see.
Potential solutions: quick add to rule. If I can right click an email and select “add to rule” then select which rule. Not perfect, but would simplify the work flow and help a ton.
Contact list rules: let me use contact lists like in thunderbird and add them via that.
