Moving messages between accounts

I tried Mailspring some years ago and for some reason, wasn’t happy with it. Now I am trying it again, I suspect I have found out what made me unhappy last time; it doesn’t appear to be possible to move messages from one account to another. Is this the case? If I’m wrong, how do I do it?

Yes, same reason I abandoned it. I just returned to the platform but see that it doesn’t have this listed in Shortcuts. I mean… it’s got everything and the kitchen sink — except this simple shortcut.

I have two Gmail accounts and people often send emails to the wrong account, which makes it difficult for me to organize the emails. A lot of other email clients out there have the provision of dragging and dropping emails from one account to another (like Spark and eM Client). Moving emails between IMAP accounts isn’t directly supported (IMAP mailboxes are separate stores with no protocol-level “move between accounts” operation).

Workaround: Right-click a message > Export as EML (added in v1.20.0), then in the destination account, import the EML file by dragging it into Mailspring. It works for individual messages, though it’s not seamless for bulk operations.
