New in 1.17.0, uparrow moves to most recent email

I just upgraded to 1.17.0, and uparrow now moves to most recent email.

It used to move to next email.

Was this an intentional change?

Is there a keystroke to move to next email?

Hope this is the right place to ask this.

same bug after the update I can no longer move between messages with the arrows

I am having this issue as well. Up arrow goes to the top of the mail list, and no other arrow works unless you scroll down then it works in some sections of the vertical list but not others. Only for the Up arrow to eventually kid you back to the top of the mail list.

Also selections using the keyboard with Shift or CTRL also do not function properly.

This is very frustrating to say the least.

Thanks for the heads up. Behavior is back to normal for me in 1.17.1.

Resolved with update to 1.17.1 for me.

Hey folks, thanks for reporting this and sorry that it made it into the 1.17.0 release. We upgraded React to a more recent version in the update, and the thread list was doing something a bit non-standard to enable keyboard navigation.

As @Buruko mentioned this was fixed in yesterday’s 1.17.1 hotfix! The app should auto-update and keyboard navigation is back to normal.
