Password Management Error

Sorry but all of these solution do NOT work on arch CachyOS and I am just about to give up.My config file looks like this:
mailspringCONFIG.log (3.0 KB)

Hiya,
I have given up and went with Betterbird client instead: https://www.betterbird.eu
No issues of passwords in the cloud anymore …

Same issue, clean install Ubuntu 25.04, happens in both snap and deb files, and using mailspring --password-store="gnome-libsecret"does not work. Sigh.

I am on version 1.15 on Zorin OS. Still I am getting the same error (that has been shared as screenshots multiple times in previous posts).

4 years old thread, is this issue still not resolved?

On openSUSE SLow Roll / KDE 6

MailSpring rpm or flat pack, both give me the error about “could not store your password securely”

“Workaround” please ?

forget it. Went back to Thunderbird for now.
MailSpring way of doing thing is very promising.

Same issue. Nobara 42 with Flatpak. Tried everything afa command modification and flatpak override to both kwallet5 and kwallet6. Nothing will work. ABORT!

For those using NixOS with gnome-keyring, looking to persist the password store parameter, I simply overriden the postFixup attribute when installing the package. This attribute was already overriding the Exec param in order to link to the Nix’s store so it was just a matter of providing the option at the end. Works flawlessly!
