Printing on the Windows Client

When Printing on the windows client, the header of the email (containing the To, From, Subject, etc) prints out on the first page. It only covers the top of the page, so the rest of the page is blank. This is wasteful.

THEN the body of the email prints out on the second page…

And on this particular email there is an image under the body, and it prints out on the third page.

When I view the email from within the program, the email appears to be easily printable on ONE page.

Is there a setting I can change to accomplish this? I really do NOT like having multiple pieces of paper when the email should (as it does in Outlook) print onto one sheet of paper.

Thanks in advance for your help,

OK, well I am getting the feeling that printing on windows is not a hot topic worthy of assistance possibly…
Is this the right area for help requests?
If anyone has any information on this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
George

We fixed a Windows printing crash (it was caused by an invalid file URL) in Mailspring 1.22.0. Could you update and try printing again? If you’re still seeing trouble on the Windows client, let me know the specifics and I’ll dig in.
