Regular cache rebuilds

Description

I have 6 accounts - 4 IMAP, iCloud and Gmail. On launch Mailspring (1.14.0) fails to load the inbox from my largest IMAP account. In order to load that account I must click Rebuild Cache. This problem sometimes repeat during the day. The other accounts work OK.

Expected Behavior

On launch I expect all my 6 accounts to chec my messages and to load correctly. This is how Postbox and eM Client behave.

Setup

  • OS and Version: macOS 12.7.6 on Intel iMac
    • Installation Method: installer
  • Mailspring Version: 1.14.0

Additional Context

The account affected in with Pobox.com which currently holds 13.9 GB of data. I am testing Mailspring as a replacement for Postbox which has worked perfectly for many years.

As of today I’m still experiencing the same issue, so apparently it’s as yet unresovled, despite this being marked as closed: Bug: Cleanup Error - Mailspring was unable to reset the local cache. Error: disk I/O error · Issue #2202 · Foundry376/Mailspring · GitHub

I presume this is also related? None of my email accounts sync anymore
