Reload - necessary always?

Mailspring free version 1.9.2

Hi and good day,

Just now I realized that an email I was waiting for did not show up and no red notification badge on the app icon.

Only after RELOAD it arrived.


Do I always start the morning with reloading, or sometimes, or what is happening?

this should usually not be the case. Maybe check the Mailsync Logs for anything strange:

  1. Go to your Mailspring User Directory:
    • Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Mailspring
    • Windows: C:\Users\<Your User>\AppData\Roaming\Mailspring
    • Linux: $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/Mailspring or ~/.config/Mailspring
  2. Look for the file mailsync-xxxxxxxx.log wheras the xxxxxxxx denote the internal id of your e-mail account
