The Problem
The URL previews when hovering over images can be very obtrusive. As I’m scrolling down through an email, I regularly have to move my cursor elsewhere and click in order to dismiss the preview so that I can read the text that it’s blocking.
Proposed Solution
Remove the URL previews when hovering over images. I don’t personally find any value in having these, as you can simply right-click to access the URL if you ever need it, and most image URLs in an email are meaningless to an end-user because they’re auto-generated for tracking purposes.
Alternative Solutions
Allow this to be a configurable UI option.
