Description
This issue happens with all emails using the Mailspring app when I use the ‘send later’ function. The issue is that when the computer restarts, all of the ‘send later’ emails that I spent ages working on just disappear. It isn’t in the trash folder or anywhere else on the app.
I have to then do it all over again, and this has become a nuisance. I noticed that someone else also brought this bug up but it was never addressed and I need to have this fixed otherwise I can’t continue using this app if I’m having questions about its reliability.
To Reproduce…
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Create an email and use the ‘send later’ function (e.g. schedule for a month from now; timing doesn’t make a difference). It correctly shows up in the drafts folder and is labelled as “Scheduled for…”.
- Restart computer.
- Open the Mailspring app.
- Go to the drafts folder and notice that the scheduled email is missing.
Expected Behavior
I expect the Mailspring app to ‘remember’ that I set up a scheduled email, either in a cache form or some cloud storage, so I don’t have to stress about doing it again.
Setup
- OS and Version: macOS Monterey 12.7.3 (Mac Mini 2018)
- Mailspring Version: Version 1.13.3 (1.13.3)
