Emails sent through Mailspring on a GoDaddy IMAP (SMTP) account show either the date Dec 31 1969 or Jan 1 1970.
A prior attempt was made at fixing this, but it was still occurring as of 2020. It is apparently specific to GoDaddy IMAP accounts.
