Sent mail not showing up unless searched for

Hi,

I’m running into an issue with Mailspring PRO on macOS regarding my sent mail.

When I open the Sent or All Sent Mail folders, it only shows emails from months or even years ago. None of my recent sent emails appear in those folders, even though I’ve definitely sent messages recently.

The only way I can find my recent sent emails is by using search—they don’t show up in the normal sent mail view.

Could you help me figure out why this is happening and how to fix it?

This is usually a folder mapping issue. Go to Preferences > Accounts > [your account] > Folder Settings and verify the “Sent” role is mapped to the correct server-side folder. For Gmail it should be [Gmail]/Sent Mail; for Outlook it’s typically Sent Items.

If the mapping looks correct, try Preferences > General > Reset Cache — this forces a full re-sync from the server and often resolves folder display gaps.
