Tracking is lost when changing email ids from dropdown

Hi ,

Posting composing mail with tracking on and changing the email from dropdown makes tracking disappear. Is there anyway to retain this and how can we set tracking as permanent ( for Pro users?)
Appreciate any help in this regard.

Confirmed, this is a real bug. When you switch the “From” address to a genuinely different account mid-draft (not just a different alias on the same account), Mailspring has to rebuild the draft from scratch under the hood so it’s attached to the new account — and that rebuild doesn’t carry over the open/link-tracking toggle, so it silently turns off.

I will get this fixed in the next release!

Wow it looks like this was actually caused by a single line missing from the code that moved the draft to the correct account. Thank you for spotting this! Fixed by Carry link/open tracking state when moving a draft between accounts · Foundry376/Mailspring@b14328c · GitHub.

We did a large release yesterday and I think there will be a patch release today or tomorrow, so this should ship soon!
