Cannot access id.mailspring.com

Description

Trying to setup a new client and / or trying to access Account Details within client fails. Getting “Coud Not Reach” and SPDY Protocol error.

To Reproduce…

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Try to setup a new client and login (pro account) or within the client go to Subscription and click on Account Details.

Setup

  • OS and Version: Fedora 41
    • Installation Method: RPM
  • Mailspring Version: 1.15.1

I have noticed today that it will try and occasionally get past the first step, then trying to log in it will time out. On Linux I backed up and copied over the data to the new system to at least get it up and going. It obviously will not connect to the Mailspring account and is annoying, but everything else works.

I’m also experiencing this and am unable to log in and update my subscription.

Having same issues. Mailspring works on my laptop, but new install on desktop is stuck at “Still trying to reach https://id.getmailspring.com…”

Any updates on this? This has been down going for a week. Making it impossible for a regular user to install Mailspring. Especially if they do not have an install elsewhere that they can use the backup and restore method.

This needs to get fixed or just remove this requirement from setup and ask later, which honestly it should be anyways.
