I have noticed today that it will try and occasionally get past the first step, then trying to log in it will time out. On Linux I backed up and copied over the data to the new system to at least get it up and going. It obviously will not connect to the Mailspring account and is annoying, but everything else works.
Any updates on this? This has been down going for a week. Making it impossible for a regular user to install Mailspring. Especially if they do not have an install elsewhere that they can use the backup and restore method.
This needs to get fixed or just remove this requirement from setup and ask later, which honestly it should be anyways.
Do they even have a fucking customer service person for their software where it’s totally abandoned? You can’t even unsubscribe since you can’t access the page in question.
Here is the problem, while I agree that he is being a bit harsh, Mailspring is not only a “free” product. Some of us actually pay for the additional features at a pretty decent monthly rate. If you want to be a paid product, the support should be there.
Same, subscribe as I wanted to support the project, but it is becoming difficult to justify when we have problems and hear nothing back. Not even an acknowledgement.
