Mailspring has a naive implementation of choosing where the download folder is when downloading attachments.
The path in windows is not fixed. Users are able to move the download folder location on a windows installation via the folder properties.
Please use the correct downloads folder, as the user has set in the Downloads folder properties window in Windows.
